What is an SI Leader?
 

  • Current Clemson Student

  • Peer Mentor and Role Model

  • Dedicated Leader and Group Facilitator

​​

​​​

 

SI Leader Responsibilities: 
 

  • Attend SI subject class at Tri-County

  • Lead students through collaborative group activities

  • Host 2 - 3 weekly review sessions (in-person and/or virtual)

  • Participate in weekly Community of Practice (COP) meetings

  • Complete regular administrative responsibilities by stated deadlines

SI Leader Requirements:
 

  • Register for CU 1110 class*

  • Ability to work 10 - 14 hours per week

  • Earned an "A" in either of the classes listed below

  • 3.0 GPA (minimum cumulative and must be maintained while being an SI Leader)​​​​

  • Good academic standing with Clemson University (must be maintained while being an SI Leader) 

  • Plan for and secure reliable transportation between Clemson University and Tri-County Technical College
