The application has closed for SI Leaders for the Spring 2025 semester. We encourage you to apply for future semesters if you feel confident in these areas! If you are currently enrolled in one of the courses above and expect to receive an A, we still encourage you to apply. Your hiring status will be conditional until final grades are submitted.

Compensation
SI Leaders receive incremental pay based on the number of semesters they have worked with the program. Pay raises are awarded each semester based on continuing employment, not exceeding $14/hour. SI Leaders also receive a Tri-County parking pass each semester.
-
1 Semester: $12/hour
-
2 Semesters: $13/hour
-
3+ Semesters: $14/hour
What do SI Leaders do?
The Leaders will:
-
Attend their SI subject class
-
Hold 2 - 3 weekly review sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
-
Lead students through collaborative group activities
-
Participate in weekly Community of Practice meetings

SI Leaders don't grade assignments, teach new material or do homework - instead, they offer a collaborative way to engage the students with class material.

Where are classes and SI review sessions held?
SI Leaders attend their subject class on Tri-County's Pendleton campus. SI sessions are subsequently held throughout the week in-person in Tri-County's Student Success Center, in the Lightsey Bridge Commons on Clemson's campus, as well as virtually via Zoom!
